Ufa Airport switches to summer schedule

From March 31, Ufa International Airport will switch to a summer flight schedule. The press service of the capital's air harbor reports that 40 airlines have been announced, operating flights to 69 destinations.

Direct flights will be available to Turkey, the UAE, Egypt and Thailand. Their implementation was planned by 10 airlines in eight directions.

Türkiye remains the most popular country for holidays among Russians. Five airlines have planned a flight program from Ufa to the shores of the Mediterranean Sea: Aeroflot, Corendon Airlines, Southwind Airlines, AZUR Air, and Red Wings. On average, up to 30 flights per week will be operated from the airport of the capital of Bashkortostan to Antalya, 7 flights per week to Dalaman, and up to 2 flights per week to Istanbul.

The charter flight program to Egyptian resorts will continue in the summer season. Rossiya Airlines has planned two weekly flights to Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, and AZUR Air has planned one flight every 10-11 days. In addition, Ural Airlines aircraft will deliver passengers to Sharm el-Sheikh with a frequency of one flight every 10-11 days.

It will be possible to travel to the United Arab Emirates from Ufa on two foreign airlines: Air Arabia has added up to five weekly flights to Sharjah to its schedule, and Flydubai has added four weekly flights to Dubai.

The broad geography of flights will remain in the countries of the Customs Union and neighboring countries. From Ufa, it will be possible to fly to Yerevan (Armenia), Baku (Azerbaijan), Almaty and Astana (Kazakhstan), Minsk (Belarus), Dushanbe and Khujand (Tajikistan), Tashkent, Samarkand and Namangan (Uzbekistan). A new direction for Ufa will be flights to the capital of Georgia - Tbilisi.

Traditionally, the most popular domestic Russian routes remain flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, Nordstar, Utair, Rossiya, and Pobeda plan up to 18 daily flights to the country's capital. To the northern capital, Rossiya, Pobeda, Smartavia, and Nordwind Airlines plan up to six daily flights.

Flights are opening to new destinations: Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, and Saratov. The number of domestic flights is also increasing, including to the country’s resorts.

Up to five daily flights are planned from Ufa to Sochi, operated by eight airlines: Smartavia, Nordwind Airlines, Ikar, Pobeda, Aeroflot, Nordstar, Utair, and Ural Airlines. Up to 11 weekly Azimut and Aeroflot Airlines flights are planned to Mineralnye Vody. Nordwind Airlines will increase the frequency of flights to the capital of Dagestan, Makhachkala, to 5 flights per week.

The summer flight schedule is valid until October 26.
