One of Bashkiria parks is included in “Parks of Russia” Award short list
Beloretsk Culture and Recreation Park “Step Beyond the Horizon” was included in the short list of finalists of the 1st All-Russian Park Award “Parks of Russia” in the “Park of the Year” category. Medium-sized cities have 50-100 thousand people.”
The “Parks of Russia” award is being held for the first time; it is a joint project of the Russian Ministry of Construction, the Association of Russian Parks, the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation and the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government.
From March 20 to April 3, members of the award’s expert council will vote to determine the winners in each category from among the laureates, and the winners will be announced and awarded on April 3 at the international exhibition and conference ParkSeason Expo in Moscow.
The cultural and recreation park project in Beloretsk, “Step Beyond the Horizon,” is the winner of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements in 2020. The project's authors are the Institute for Urban Development of Bashkortostan and the administration of the Beloretsky district.
