Russian government will allocate another 1 billion rubles for social gasification

The Russian government's Telegram channel reported that an additional 1 billion rubles will be allocated from the federal budget in 2024 to connect beneficiaries' homes to gas networks.

Participants in the social gasification program will receive at least 100 thousand rubles in subsidies. Following the instructions of the head of state, subsidies are received by SMO participants and members of their families, WWII veterans, parents with many children, and citizens with low incomes.

In 2023, more than 12 thousand households were connected through targeted payments. The total number of contracts concluded for free connecting highways to sites exceeded 1.1 million, of which 900 thousand have already been fully completed. During the program's implementation, more than 500 thousand private houses were connected to gas, significantly improving people's quality of life.

Now, the networks will be laid to the boundaries of plots with houses in gardening partnerships located inside gasified settlements. Regional heads will control the implementation of social gasification.
