Maxim Zabelin played with famous grandmaster in “Mind Games”
Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan, Maxim Zabelin, played with the eminent grandmaster Sergei Karyakin in “Mind Games”. Maxim Zabelin reported this on his Telegram channel.
“For me, sport is running and hockey with physical exercise on the muscles, and chess, where you need to train your brain. Today, I enjoyed participating in “Mind Games,” where I played with the eminent grandmaster Sergei Karyakin. It’s difficult to beat a recognized master, but testing your strength and experience is interesting. I learned this ancient game at school and recommend it to everyone. The ability to analyze a situation and make difficult decisions will be useful to our schoolchildren,” said Maxim Zabelin.
