Best social projects in Bashkiria are announced

On February 27, the World Day of Non-Profit Organizations, an award ceremony was held for 25 completed projects supported in 2022 by the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and implemented in 2022-2023, which, based on the results of the evaluation of the results, were recognized as the best.

The solemn event was opened by the First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Head of the Republic for Domestic Policy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic Ural Kilsenbaev.

“Today, we are experiencing unprecedented growth in nonprofit organizations. More than 6 thousand organizations operate in the republic. Since 2019, more than 600 projects have received government support. The size and direction of grants increase annually. Thanks to the active work of the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, federal funds are attracted annually in a fairly large volume, and thanks to the support of the Head of the Republic, new directions are being developed. For example, the latest new direction is support for media projects, and last December, grants were awarded for the development of the Republic of Bashkortostan film industry. Thus, not a single sector of the Head of the Republic remains out of sight. Such a dialogue is not practiced in every region when the head of a region pays attention to the non-profit sector and supports it. It is worth noting that we also receive positive feedback from the non-profit sector,” shared Ural Kilsenbaev.

The chairman of the competition commission of the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic, Deputy Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic, Anna Tabolina, spoke about priority projects for the republic. The winners of the competition of annual reports of NGOs held by the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkortostan also received their awards.

After the award ceremony, an educational lecture was held for representatives of organizations. The speakers were the federal expert in the field of development of charity and civil society, member of expert councils of donor charitable programs and organizations, author of books Vyacheslav Bakhmin, and manager for work with NGOs of the Charitable Foundation “Need Help” Pavel Kaznacheev.

From January 11 to January 31, 2024, the Foundation conducted a public assessment of the results of the implementation of projects - winners of grant competitions of the Head of the Republic.

The foundation's competition committee identified the 25 best projects based on the assessments.
