Bashkortostan delegation went to World Youth Festival in Sochi

Today, February 26, at the Ufa railway station, the delegation of Bashkortostan was sent to participate in the World Youth Festival, which will be held on the federal territory “Sirius” from March 1 to 7.

According to the acting chairman of the State Committee of the Republic for Youth Policy, Vito Sabirov, our republic will be represented at the festival by 180 young girls and boys who have passed all stages of the competitive selection. Also, a large group of volunteers from Bashkiria, which includes more than 60 people, will work at the festival in Sochi.

“With our large delegation, we will tell young people from other countries and regions of Russia about Bashkortostan, make new acquaintances, and, of course, gain new knowledge from speakers from all over the world,” shared the head of the delegation, Ilnur Yuldybaev.

The World Youth Festival is the largest international event held in Russia by order of President Vladimir Putin to develop international youth cooperation. The festival will host 20,000 young Russian and foreign leaders in business, media, international cooperation, culture, science, education, volunteering and charity, sports, various spheres of public life, and teenagers representing multiple children's organizations and associations.
