“Mom Can” Project was launched in Bashkiria
Bashkiria's employment centers have launched the “Mom Can” project. Days for women with children will be held every Tuesday, the Ministry of Labor of the Republic reported. Masterclasses and training, consultations with psychologists and employment specialists, lessons in self-presentation and competent resume writing, and communication with famous people are prepared for visitors.
“Women on maternity leave and mothers of preschool children can undergo free training under the national project “Demography”; there is an opportunity to open their own business with state support. Psychologists at the employment center will help women with children build their professional trajectory, develop communication skills, and overcome psychological barriers,” commented the Ministry of Labor of the Republic.
In 2023, the employment service of Bashkortostan helped almost 9 thousand women with children under 18 years old find work or start a business. Since the beginning of this year, 845 mothers have found employment with the support of employment centers.
The President of Russia declared 2024 the Year of the Family. Bashinform News Agency wrote how it will be carried out in the republic.
