Head of Russian Post: Bashkiria is leader in post office branches

“Bashkortostan is a special region for us. This is the leader in the number of branches. 80% of all our branches are located in rural areas,” said Mikhail Volkov, General Director of Russian Post JSC, answering a question from IA Bashinform after the opening of 35 post offices, which were overhauled.

“At the end of 2023, we see a lot of positive improvements. First of all, from the point of view of service quality, complaints have greatly decreased, and citizen satisfaction has increased. Over the past year, we launched a program to increase our employees' salaries. This is an essential task that we will continue to implement. Today's solemn event, from which we have now left 35 branches, more than 100 100,000 residents received new comfortable conditions of service. I hope that the republic's residents will highly appreciate this work.
