First Deputy Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Robert Ishtukov reported in more detail on the objectives of the state program. He said that the implementation of the “Modernization of Primary Health Care” program will continue. Thanks to her, over the past three years, 5 clinics, 8 capital first-aid stations, 2 medical outpatient clinics have been built in the republic, major repairs have been carried out in 66 healthcare facilities, 226 modular structures, 352 units of vehicles, and more than 9,000 units of medical equipment have been purchased.
To reduce infant and child mortality in the republic, newborns will continue to be examined for hereditary diseases. On January 1, 2023, the federal program “Extended Neonatal Screening” was launched in Russia, within which all newborns are analyzed for 36 hereditary diseases. The list of medical organizations that conduct such research for children from all regions of the country includes the Republican Medical Genetic Center.
Much attention will be paid to developing digital medical technologies; it plans to introduce two medical products with artificial intelligence. In 2024, two new regional projects were launched. The “Combating Diabetes Mellitus” project includes, among other things, providing children with continuous glucose monitoring systems. The second project, to modernize healthcare institutions in Ufa, aims to strengthen the material and technical base.
Based on the discussion results, Andrey Nazarov instructed the Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan to continue working to combat infant mortality and mortality in working age.
