Hospitals in Bashkiria received 15 lung ventilators in 2023
Hospitals in Bashkortostan received 15 lung ventilation devices in 2023. The main advantage of the new technology is maximum adaptation of the work to the patient's needs. With its help, a specialist can ventilate the lungs of an adult and a child.
As the regional Ministry of Health said, this equipment can automatically change ventilation parameters depending on the patient’s condition. It can work offline and also transmit data via a wireless interface.
“New equipment for the republic’s hospitals was purchased thanks to the Healthcare National project. They plan to install 14 more in 2024. This will significantly improve the ability to provide medical care to patients,” the department said.
Bashinform News Agency reported that Ufa’s medical institutions are undergoing a large-scale update.
