Rehabilitation and educational center openings have been announced in Bashkiria

The Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of the Population of Bashkiria, Lenara Ivanova, announced the planned opening date of a new rehabilitation center in Ufa for children and adolescents with disabilities, combined with an educational one.

“We expect it to open by September. The center will meet all the requirements of a modern, comfortable, and accessible environment for children,” said Lenara Ivanova.

According to the head of the department, the gerontological center “Imenlek” on Sorge Street in Ufa and the new boarding house “Karlugach” in the Alsheevsky district are also preparing to open in 2024.

“We have also planned a multi-center for social labor integration, approved by the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. There, 10 workshops will provide training in in-demand professions for a specific workplace. In addition, many services will appear, for example, social taxi,” added Lenara Ivanova.

Let us remind you that a new rehabilitation and educational center is being created based on the Salyut sanatorium. It will house classrooms, sports and gymnasiums, woodworking, cooking, floriculture, and pottery workshops.

There are special devices with enclosing structures on all sides, multi-level railings, ramps, elevators that ensure students' movement inside the building, equipped bathrooms, entrances of sufficient width, single-level floors, and the absence of thresholds. A swimming pool will also be built, and winter gardens and areas for outdoor games will be equipped.
