Head of Bashkiria instructed to prepare important medical facilities list

On February 5, at an operational meeting, the Head of Bashkiria spoke about opening the Center for Children's Oncology and Hematology at the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital in Ufa. Radiy Khabirov noted that the center has become one of the most long-awaited healthcare facilities in the region. Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in its opening via video link. The head of state highly appreciated the center that opened in Ufa.

As First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic Robert Ishtukov reported, the Republican Children's Oncology Center has 92 beds. The medical facility will carry out in-depth diagnostics and unique neuro-oncological operations. The National Oncology Center supervises the center in Bashkiria.

“We already have an oncology clinic and a children’s oncology center, and this year, we are planning to put into operation a new building of the cardiac center. And now, it’s time for us to think about new projects. I mean specifically high-tech medical facilities. We must decide what we are missing and start working on the design. We must clearly understand the horizons for further work. Consult the medical community about this,” Radiy Khabirov instructed.
