73 million rubles were allocated for “Bashkir Longevity” program in 2023

73 million rubles were allocated for trips for pensioners under the Bashkir Longevity program in 2023. The Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic, Rustem Afzalov, announced this at an operational meeting on Monday.

According to him, in 2023, one-day trips around the region will be made as part of the “Bashkir Longevity” project. Tourism" was carried out by 20 thousand people. 48 million rubles were spent from the republic’s budget for these purposes.

Also, last year, Bashkiria organized trips to Belarus for 1.6 thousand people; the total amount of funding amounted to 24.3 million rubles (26.5 thousand rubles per person). In addition, 46 pensioners visited Abkhazia, and 700 thousand rubles were allocated for these purposes.

“This year, we will continue trips around the region for 20 thousand people; we plan to organize tours to Belarus for 1,500 people; they will begin on February 6. Promising directions for us are the Republic of Kazakhstan, Moscow, and St. Petersburg,” said Rustem Afzalov.

He added that the regional Ministry of Tourism is developing student and affordable tourism projects.
