Bashkiria hit Top 5 regions by people who rested in sanatoriums

Bashkiria entered the top five sanatoria and health tourism at the end of 2023. According to the portal санатории-России.рф, 243 thousand people rested in the health resorts of the republic last year, and in total, almost 7 million people rested in Russian sanatoriums.

The leading regions also included the Krasnodar Territory (1 million 282 thousand), Stavropol Territory (826 thousand), Crimea (503 thousand), and the Moscow Region (353 thousand).

It is noted that health resorts in Bashkiria are traditionally popular among republic residents and guests from other regions of Russia. The greatest interest among vacationers was generated by vouchers, with an average cost of 2,000 to 2,500 rubles per day. Most of the demand was for health resorts for treating musculoskeletal system diseases, gastrointestinal tract, and cardiology.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that the best tourism projects in Bashkiria can participate in the federal award.
