The Bashkiria National Park employees began observing wintering bees in the wild using a thermal imager. Experts noted that the insects were delicate.
“The thermal imager we purchased, thanks to the Beautiful Children in a Beautiful World foundation, showed a thermal trace (a bright spot in the video) in the deck. This means that everything is fine with the bees; they tolerate frost safely. They gathered in a tight ball and warmed each other. The main thing is that there is enough honey remaining in the honeycombs from the fall before the onset of warm days,” said the national park staff.
Bashinform News Agency reported about the life of another inhabitant of the Bashkiria National Park. Experts observe the animal through a video camera lens.
