50 million rubles are allocated for media projects in Bashkiria

On behalf of the Head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan is, for the first time, holding a competition to provide grants to non-profit, non-governmental organizations of Bashkortostan to support projects in the field of media in 2024.

Acceptance of applications on the official website of the grantyglavy102.rf foundation began on February 1 and will last until 17.00 March 1, 2024, local time. Applications are submitted electronically following the competition regulations.

Only non-profit organizations that have been legal entities for at least three months when applying can participate in the competition. Potential participants should pay attention to a letter of guarantee from registered media outlets of the Republic, which confirms the readiness to publish and distribute the implemented project.

In this competition, a project means a set of interrelated activities aimed at creating a socially significant result - media products, according to the 6th paragraph of Article 2 of the Law of the Russian Federation “On the Mass Media” - a circulation or part of the circulation of a separate issue of a periodically printed publication, a different issue of a TV channel, a radio channel, radio program, television program, newsreel program, a circulation or part of a circulation of an audio or video recording of a program, a separate release or update of an online publication, a separate release of another media outlet.

The Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Press and Media Agency of the Republic developed 11 topics for the competition, one of which the project must correspond to. The total budget of the competition is 50 million rubles. The maximum grant size for one project is 5 million rubles. One organization has the right to submit no more than one application for participation in the competition.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the Head of Bashkiria ordered an additional 50 million rubles for grants to implement media projects.
