Ufa mayor Ratmir Mavliev announced on his Telegram channel on January 28 that improving the sidewalk on Tsyurupy Street will begin this year. The first stage is renovating part of the sidewalk from Kirov Street to Chernyshevsky Street.
“It is still difficult to call this area a pedestrian zone. The entire area is given over to car parking. Unsafe, inconvenient. We will restore justice - we will return part of the area to pedestrians while taking into account the interests of drivers and cyclists,” the mayor said.
According to him, the street will be gradually, step by step, put in order.
“We discussed the concept. There are many difficult areas, and the amount of work is large,” emphasized Ratmir Mavliev.
