Bashkiria exported 88 tons of food chickpeas to Turkey. Four batches of legumes prepared by an agricultural producer from the Meleuzovsky district were inspected by Rosselkhoznadzor's regional department.
The products were checked by specialists from the plant quarantine department, grain quality control, and seed control. Selected chickpea samples underwent phytosanitary examinations. According to the research results, no dangerous quarantine organisms were identified, and all products meet the requirements of the Republic of Turkey, the supervisory agency noted.
In 2023, the agro-industrial complex of Bashkiria more than doubled the export of grain and its processed products. The volume of supplies to countries near and far abroad increased by almost 130% to 471.78 thousand tons, the Bashinform News Agency reported.
