More than 30 thousand people have fallen ill with ARI and influenza in Bashkiria since year’s beginning
Over the three weeks since the beginning of the year, 30.3 thousand acute respiratory infections and influenza cases have been registered in Bashkiria. Almost 40% of this number are children under 14 years of age.
In the circulation of all viruses, the main share is the influenza A virus, reported Rospotrebnadzor for the republic.
“During the season of rising incidence, it is essential to remember preventive measures: wash your hands more often, ventilate the premises, disinfect work surfaces and gadgets, and avoid contact with people with signs of the disease.
And the most important thing is not to self-medicate, but to immediately consult a doctor to avoid negative consequences for your health,” the sanitary inspectors advised.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, COVID-19 was diagnosed in 125 people over the past 24 hours. A week ago, the number of people infected with COVID-19 was 245.
