320 Bashkiria’s representatives participate in municipal forum in Moscow

On January 15-16, the All-Russian municipal forum “Small Motherland - the Strength of Russia” took place in Moscow. It brought together a record number of representatives of municipalities from all over the country - 7.5 thousand participants.

Bashkiria was represented at the forum by a delegation of 320 municipal employees, headed by Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan, Maxim Zabelin. The heads of cities and regions of the republic actively participated in more than 50 panel discussions with famous speakers.

The forum included 32 round tables and 25 lectures. A single portal for municipal employees, “Municipalities.rf,” was presented, and recruitment of volunteers for the All-Russian vote for improvement projects began. In addition, the winners of the all-Russian competition “Best Municipal Practice 2023” were awarded, following which four winning municipalities from Bashkiria were awarded. Thus, in the nomination “Providing effective feedback to residents of municipalities, development of territorial public self-government,” the city of Oktyabrsky won, and Uchaly took fourth place. In addition, in the second category of this nomination, the Kashkinsky village council of the Askinsky district was awarded third place. Sterlitamak became fourth in the “Municipal Economic Policy and Municipal Financial Management” category. The awardees also received grants: Oktyabrsky - 42.5 million rubles, Uchaly and Sterlitamak - 17 million rubles each, and Kashkinsky Village Council - 6 million rubles. These funds will be used for the improvement and development of settlements.
