

Projects from Bashkiria won 65.8 million rubles in the first competition of the Presidential Grants Fund in 2024. 46 initiatives from our republic received support. The region was among the top five regarding the number of grants and the amount raised. Thus, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, commented on social media on the results of the presidential grants competition, which were summed up at a meeting of the coordination committee of the Presidential Grants Fund.
Applications for co-financing regional grant competitions for socially oriented NPOs were also reviewed here. Bashkiria will receive 90.3 million rubles in 2024 – the largest amount among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Since 2021, the republic has attracted 364.8 million rubles for these purposes. Bashinform News Agency previously reported this.
“I congratulate everyone involved in this and thank the Grant Fund of the Head of Bashkortostan, the resource center of the apparatus of our Public Chamber, and the entire non-profit sector of the republic for the high result. For our part, this year, we will also strengthen our support for NPOs. This year, we planned to allocate 280 million rubles for grants – 60 million more than a year ago,” wrote Radiy Khabirov.
The head of Bashkiria recalled that the republic's non-profit sector is implementing projects in culture, preservation, and development of languages, public initiatives, and others. Support is provided to organizations that help SMO participants and members of their families, projects for people with disabilities, exceptional children, social hairdressing salons, and leisure centers.
