Bashkiria hit top in presidential grants received
The Coordination Council of the Presidential Grants Fund has summed up the results of the first grant competition in 2024. Regarding the volume of grants received, Bashkiria took first place among Russian regions. The Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, announced this at an operational meeting of the government of Bashkiria.
He noted that non-profit organizations that promote the development of civil initiatives are strong in Bashkiria. In addition, the leading position that the republic has occupied for many years is a severe indicator of trust. Thus, over 4 years, 365 million rubles of grant funds were raised. In 2023 alone, 220 million rubles have been allocated from Bashkiria's budget for developing civil society institutions. This year, 280 million rubles will be given for these purposes.
Previously, Bashinform News Agency reported that residents of Bashkiria can apply to support projects in culture, art, and creative industries.
