Exemption from real estate tax
Answering a question about the possibility of exempting large families from the tax on single housing, the President spoke about what is being done in Russia to support families with children.
Next, Vladimir Putin named the measures already in place in the country to support large families: mortgage benefits, income tax benefits, and others. He explained that there is also such a benefit as the exemption of prominent families from property taxes, but now this is the competence of regional and municipal authorities. The President promised that shortly, the possibility of providing such a benefit would be discussed at the federal level, and a decision would be made.
People with many children may be given benefits for buying a car
The next question concerned the possibility of using maternity capital to buy a vehicle for large families. The President proposed not touching the maternal capital but working on the issue of providing benefits separately. This will not only help people but also support the domestic auto industry.
The main thing is the interests of children.
In addition, the head of state made several other important statements. Vladimir Putin emphasized that, in general, proposals to expand the use of maternal capital must be treated carefully; the main thing here is the interests of children. He proposed introducing additional payments to pay off mortgages in regions of the Far East with low birth rates.
The President also called the possible delay in payments to SMO participants a bureaucratic failure and promised to investigate the situation.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency talked about systematic work to support large families in Bashkiria.
