Year of Teacher and Mentor results were summed up in Bashkiria

Year of Teacher and Mentor results were summed up at the weekly operational meeting, which the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held. Russian President Vladimir Putin enshrined this topic in 2023 by decree.

The region's Minister of Education and Science, Ildar Mavletberdin, said the action plan for preparing and holding the nominal year included 63 points. Among them are republican and interregional competitions for kindergarten teachers, teachers, and industrial training masters, including “Teacher of the Year of the Bashkir Language and Literature,” “Best Pedagogical Dynasty,” and “Teacher of the Future Generation of Russia.”

In the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, there were sporting events, scientific and practical conferences, forums, competitions, and festivals in Bashkortostan. In October 2023, the updated Museum of the History of the Development of Education in Bashkortostan was opened in Ufa.

Ildar Mavletberdin noted that educational materials under the heading of the same name on the Bashinform News Agency website contributed to the popularization of the teaching profession and the replication of the mentoring experience. In addition, the “Class Book” project, published weekly on the Rossiya 24 TV channel, won the All-Russian competition for journalistic educational works.

In 2023, the media of Bashkortostan published and aired more than 7 thousand articles and stories on this topic. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic took second place among the country's regions in the All-Russian competition for the best media support for the Year of the Teacher and Mentor.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, instructed the republic's government to approve an action plan for the Year of Care for People with Disabilities by January 31.
