More than 350 thousand people visited Bashkortostan stand in Moscow during holidays

From December 28, 2023, to January 8, 2024, Bashkortostan presented its tourism potential at the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” in Moscow. The large-scale program, visited daily by up to 50 thousand people, was prepared by the Tourism Development Center of the Republic of Belarus with the support of the Republic's Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism. Over 350 thousand people visited Bashkiria’s stand at the country’s leading exhibition during the New Year holidays.

“The participation of Bashkortostan in the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” allows us to show the capabilities of our tourism sector better, talk about what to see, where to stay, and what events to attend. Our task is to create conditions for guests of the region to feel comfortable and interested so that after their first acquaintance with the republic, they return here again,” commented Rustem Afzalov, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The Abzakovo ski resort, the Bannoe ski center, the Assy and Yaktykul sanatoriums, the Toratau and Yangantau geoparks, the tour operator Tourism of Bashkiria, and the Goldy Key country club presented their projects to the guests of the spacecraft. Every day at the Bashkortostan stand, there were quizzes about the sights of the republic and drawings for tours to the best sanatoriums, ski resorts, and recreation centers of the republic.

In addition, creative master classes were held daily at the region’s stand: exhibition guests created Bashkir decorations and Christmas tree decorations from beads with their hands, learned to play national instruments, and even extracted honey.

Also, on the republic site, there was a residence of the Bashkir Father Frost - Kysh Babai and the Snow Maiden - Karhylyu, located right in the spaceship during the winter holidays. Young visitors were treated to competitions, games, and exciting and tasty gifts here.
