President of Russia proposed establishing “Mentor of the Year” award
On December 27, a meeting of the State Council was held in Moscow, chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The meeting was dedicated to summing up the Year of the Teacher and Mentor results. The head of state proposed establishing an annual Mentor of the Year award.
“Five years ago, we established the “For Mentoring” award. I propose to establish an annual “Mentor of the Year” award. All our regions must take concrete steps to increase the prestige and status of mentors,” Vladimir Putin said at the meeting.
