Russian government allocated 1.6 billion rubles for rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities
An additional 1.6 billion rubles will be allocated from the Cabinet’s reserve fund to provide disabled people with technical means of rehabilitation. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the order on the allocation of these funds. The document was published on the government website.
We are talking about hearing aids, wheelchairs, speech synthesizers, prostheses, orthoses, and other products the state provides for disabled people.
The federal budget will allocate more than 57 billion rubles for these purposes. Additional funding will enable citizens to receive these funds in full. The issue of its allocation was considered and approved at a government meeting on December 22.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the Head of Bashkiria signed a decree declaring 2024 the Year of Care for HIA People.
