Bashkiria’s Ministry of Education was recognized as best in media support for Year of Teacher

In Moscow, the results of the all-Russian competition among the press services of the constituent entities of Russia, which the Russian Ministry of Education held, were summed up. The competition participants were specialists from the executive authorities of the constituent entities responsible for information work in education. The competition occurred from October 1 to December 1, 2023, and consisted of two stages.

The official award ceremony occurred at the “Russia” International Exhibition and Forum site at VDNKh as part of the all-Russian competition of journalistic works in education “PRO Education - 2023”. According to the competition results, 1st place was taken by the press service of the Education Committee of St. Petersburg, 2nd place by the Ministry of Education and Science of Bashkortostan, 3rd place by the Ministry of Education of the Belgorod Region.

Let us add that for the second year in a row, and the Bashinform News Agency has been implementing an information and educational project on its site about the activities of secondary vocational education institutions, including the regional program for the modernization of secondary vocational education, initiated by the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov. Also, on the news agency’s website throughout 2023, there was a section dedicated to the Year of the Teacher and Mentor, where relevant materials about teachers and the regional education system were published.

It was reported that work on material equipment and repair of educational institutions in Bashkiria will continue until 2030.

By decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, 2023 was declared the Year of the Teacher and Mentor. The year's mission is recognition of the special status of teaching staff, including those performing mentoring activities.
