Head of Bashkortostan announced the early launch of the Eastern Exit

Traffic along the Eastern Exit should be opened in two months. The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, announced this during the announcement of his Address to the State Assembly of the Republic. According to the head of the republic, the early launch of a large-scale facility became possible thanks to record funding for constructing and repairing roads in the region.

“We have begun active construction of the M-12 highway. A large section of more than 200 km will pass through our territory. This important road for us will appear in a year. Then, within two years, we will restore nearby roads damaged during construction; this issue has been agreed upon with the federal government,” Radiy Khabirov noted.

Let us remind you that the Eastern Exit is a tunnel section with a length of 1.2 km, a bridge crossing with an overpass across the Ufa River of 2.7 km, and a 10 km expressway with access to the M-5 Ural federal highway. The estimated speed of vehicles will be 110 km/h, and in the tunnel, 80 km/h, thanks to which motorists will be able to leave the capital of Bashkortostan in an eastern direction much faster.
