Anton Babikov won bronze in Commonwealth Cup stage mass start
Belarusian biathlete Dmitry Lazovsky won the big mass start at the second stage of the Commonwealth Cup in Ufa.
Dmitry Lazovsky, who made two mistakes at the shooting range, showed a 42-minute 3.3-second result. Olympic medalist Alexander Loginov is in second place. World champion Anton Babikov from Ufa closed the top three biathletes.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, invited residents of the republic to attend the races of the second stage of the Commonwealth Biathlon Cup, which is taking place these days in Ufa. The head of the republic recalled that the strongest athletes from Russia and Belarus came to the capital. At the same time, representatives of Bashkiria show decent results, noted Radiy Khabirov.
