

A large-scale update of the medical equipment of hospitals and clinics is planned in Ufa for the first time, said the Minister of Health of the Republic Airat Rakhmatullin at an operational meeting of the government of Bashkortostan. According to him, the funds for re-equipment will be 4.53 billion rubles.
In Ufa, they will launch a “Virtual Clinic” to receive several certificates and consultations remotely and a robotic 24-hour call center, whose operators will help residents make appointments and actively invite them to medical examinations.
The total funding for the modernization program for healthcare institutions in Ufa from 2024 to 2029 is 8 billion rubles. According to the project, significant repairs will be carried out in 118 facilities of most medical organizations in the capital of Bashkiria.
Earlier, it became known that a Eurasian-level genomic center for conducting fundamental and applied biomedical research would be created in Ufa.
