Interuniversity campus in Ufa will house 28 scientific laboratories

The IQ Park of the Ufa interuniversity campus will house 28 scientific laboratories. The plans became known during an off-site meeting on construction work at the site, held by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Alan Marzaev with the heads of relevant departments and representatives of contractors.

Alan Marzaev discussed several topical issues with designers and specialists from specialized departments. In particular, they discussed the readiness of the premises to accommodate scientific and technological equipment. There will be 28 interuniversity laboratories in the IQ Park, and the commissioning of the second phase will add another 20.

As the Bashinform News Agency learned, the columns of the stylobate received metal decoration with words of greeting in different languages, and suspended ceilings with lamps were installed. The 15-storey tower building is almost ready for use, and the seven-storey IQ Park is being finished. Over 600 people work at the construction site in three shifts daily.

In addition, at the meeting, they discussed obtaining a positive conclusion from Glavgosexpertiza and the issue of concluding lease agreements for commercial space in the first stage of the building.

Let us add that earlier, the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan, Andrey Nazarov, made a tour of the facility. He instructed us to prepare the premises to install laboratory equipment and reminded us to complete all work within the specified time frame.

The interuniversity campus in Ufa is being built as part of the national project “Science and Universities,” the press service of the government of the Republic recalled. Construction of the facility's second phase after the first building is planned to begin in early 2024.

Let us recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the creation of a network of 25 modern campuses by 2030, 17 of which are already at various stages of implementation. This became possible thanks to the national project “Science and Universities”, implemented by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
