Positive practices of the Bashkir project will be presented at the exposition of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, held under the slogan “Family. Job. Longevity".
“This Sunday, throughout the day, we will demonstrate to Muscovites and guests of the capital all our achievements in implementing the Bashkir Longevity project, from measures of social support for veterans to career opportunities for citizens 50+.
Guests will enjoy exciting activities in a variety of directions: “racing with dementia” – a master class from the Republican Gerontological Center “Imenlek”; The Southern Center “Family” will hold games for preserving memory and intelligence for everyone, and the Temyasovsky Psychoneurological Boarding School will have a master class on making Bashkir national jewelry. We will teach everyone to play the kubyz; barre fitness instructor Liliya Suleymanova will introduce our guests to this new type of fitness with ballet elements.
A fashion show of Bashkir costumes, performances by the winners of the Republican Festival of Creativity of the Older Generation “I Love You, Life!”, the Ak Tirma collective and the Moscow Bashkir Theater “Ilgam” and much more await visitors to the exhibition of the Ministry of Labor of Russia on December 3. The day's highlight will be an incendiary training session from our famous Turbo-neneika Lyudmila Semenova (neneika means “grandmother” in Bashkir). The “Bashkir Longevity” project was initiated by the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov in 2020. This is a set of measures aimed at maintaining health, creating an active, healthy, and positive lifestyle, and maintaining involvement in the socially helpful life of representatives of the “silver age”.
For three years, the project has gained tremendous popularity and today unites more than 250 thousand residents of the older generation of the republic (more than a quarter of the total number of citizens of older working age in the region). The project consists of seven directions, the most popular of which is “Bashkir longevity. Tourism" (more than 28 thousand people participated). Starting this year, the project includes domestic tourism and trips to Belarus and Abkhazia.
More than 77 thousand residents of Bashkortostan take part in the “Physical Culture” direction of the “Bashkir Longevity” project, and more than 177 thousand people take part in the “Culture and Creativity” direction. From 2022, pensioners will be issued certificates worth 2 thousand rubles for leisure activities. Since 2023, pensioners who have successfully passed the GTO standards will be given certificates for 10 thousand rubles to receive physical education and health services. Interest clubs, sports, and health groups for Nordic walking, swimming, breathing exercises, and yoga are opening in cities and regions of the republic.
