Shulgan-Tash Museum complex won Russian Event Awards 2023 Grand Prix

The Shulgan-Tash Museum complex won the Grand Prix of the Russian Event Awards 2023. Danir Gainullin, director of the Research and Production Center for the Protection and Use of Real Estate Objects of the Cultural Heritage of the Republic, announced this on his social media.

“This is an international award in the field of event tourism. The professionals who gathered for the final award in Nizhny Novgorod today voted for the Museum of Bashkortostan and recognized it as the best museum and exhibition complex hosting tourist events. Our project, which took over ten years to implement, lives its vibrant life and conquers the world. I believe that the young team of the Shulgan-Tash Cave museum-reserve has everything ahead and will have many such achievements,” wrote Danir Gainullin.

The historical and cultural museum-reserve “Shulgan-Tash Cave” team has another award. The “Shulgan-fest” festival, which traditionally will be held every year on the territory of the museum complex on its opening date - July 9, took an honorable 3rd place in the “Best Ethnocultural Event” category.

Russian Event Awards 2023 takes place in Nizhny Novgorod on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. 327 projects from 59 regions of Russia and 7 projects from the Republic of Belarus are participating in the finals. A total of 648 projects were submitted for the award.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that Bashkiria is leading the regional stage of the Russian Event Awards 2023 national tourism award.
