Vladimir Putin declared 2024 in Russia as Family Year
2024 in Russia will be declared the Family Year. The corresponding decree of President Vladimir Putin was published on November 22 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The document says the decision was made to popularize state policy in family protection and preserving traditional family values.
The government has been instructed to form an organizing committee for the Family Year and approve its composition by December 27.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova was appointed chairman of the organizing committee for the thematic year.
