Over the past week, more than 25 thousand acute respiratory infections and influenza cases have been registered in Bashkiria, of which 43.5% were among children. The regional department of Rospotrebnadzor provides this data.
“Compared to last week, there is an increase in the incidence of 29.9%. According to long-term observations, the peak incidence occurs in December-February,” Rospotrebnadzor added, calling for compliance with the necessary preventive measures.
Earlier, the chief physician of the Republican Cardiac Dispensary, Irina Nikolaeva, named the most important foods and drinks for the prevention of colds, Bashinform News Agency reported.
As the doctor explained, seasonal ARVI and influenza become more active during the fall during rains and cold weather. Eating foods rich in vitamins is especially important to protect yourself from seasonal infections. Vitamins help the body fight viruses and increase its ability to adapt to external factors.
