Bashkortostan has increased support for healthcare workers

The Ministry of Health of Bashkiria, the Republican Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of Russia, and the regional branch of the Society for Healthcare and Public Health Organization signed a new industry agreement for 2023–2026.

The document preserves all existing benefits and guarantees for medical specialists, including additional payments established in 2022 for ambulance employees. Also, as part of the agreement, the block of questions on compliance with the requirements of labor legislation and remuneration and socio-economic and legal protection was strengthened and expanded.

“We are actively and effectively interacting with the Republican Union of Health Workers and will continue to do so. For the Ministry of Health of the Republic, supporting workers comes first, including improving working conditions and increasing wages for healthcare workers. The trade union provides feedback to employees throughout the republic and helps strengthen corporate culture and team spirit. Combining the parties' efforts will allow us to achieve results faster,” commented the Minister of Health of the Republic, Ayrat Rakhmatullin.

As the head of the trade union organization of healthcare in Bashkiria, Raul Halfin noted that the new industry agreement expands interaction within the social partnership framework.

Earlier, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, presented state awards to the best workers in the region.
