Regional Federal Antimonopoly Service departments have been given the authority to conduct unscheduled on-site and documentary inspections in tariff control. The country's Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, signed this decree.
It is noted that the preparation of final acts and control of their implementation will continue to be carried out by the central office of the FAS. The body will also retain the authority to consider appeals in state regulation of tariffs.
“The decision taken is aimed at increasing the efficiency of monitoring the economic feasibility of tariffs,” the Russian government noted.
Earlier, it became known that unscrupulous subsoil users in Bashkiria would be required to reclaim mining sites.
