Second stage of interuniversity campus construction in Ufa will begin in 2024

In Ufa, after inspecting the progress of the reconstruction of the first stage of the inter-university student campus of the world-class Eurasian REC in the IQ-park building, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a working meeting on the completion of the first stage of the inter-university student campus.

Prime Minister of the Republic’s Government Andrey Nazarov noted that by November 15, the premises will be transferred to universities participating in the REC. In addition, an agreement was reached with the Sirius National Technological University on scientific and technological support for the Ufa campus.

The head of the region also discussed with the meeting participants plans for constructing the second stage. In particular, to begin construction work, updated technical and economic indicators, architectural and planning solutions for administrative and residential buildings with a height of 4 to 34 floors, and several issues on engineering communications are being approved.

The campus will include a classroom, laboratory block, genomic center, residential modules for 4,340 places, premises for trade and catering, sports and recreational areas and sites for cultural events, and parking for 178 spaces.

“The second phase of the campus, which is adjacent to the first, is constructing 150 thousand square meters. We start at the beginning of 2024. By agreement with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, we must commission the facility by December 1, 2025,” noted Radiy Khabirov.
