Ufa University of Science and Technology celebrates its first birthday

Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan, Maxim Zabelin, dedicated a post on social media to the first year since the birth of the Ufa University of Science and Technology. He noted that although the university is one of the youngest in the country, it has behind it the centuries-old history of the two leading universities of the republic - Bashkir State University and UGATU.

Today, Ufa University is one of the five largest universities in Russia. It strengthens the scientific and educational base - it implements all major federal projects initiated by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. The university participates in the large-scale university development program “Priority 2030”, has its own “Advanced Engineering School,” and, as a member of the Eurasian REC, strengthens our country's scientific and technological sovereignty. This year, Ufa University again demonstrated its leadership position in the Student Startup competition.

“I am glad that young talents are growing at the university, such as Vladislav Ivanov, a graduate student at the Department of Telecommunication Systems. This year, he won a competition for young scientists, a grant, and a prestigious scholarship for his success in microelectronics. On my first birthday, I wish Ufa University its promising students, discoveries, and victories. And the main thing is that the pages of your university's history become rich every year, full of bright successes and implemented ideas!” - wrote Maxim Zabelin.
