Property purchased under social contract was offered to be protected from foreclosure
The State Duma proposed banning the collection of property acquired using funds provided to low-income residents as part of state assistance, including based on a social contract. The corresponding changes are planned to be included in the bill.
“According to the current legislation, it is impossible to recover payments to low-income citizens received as part of the provision of state social assistance, including based on a social contract. However, according to the Civil Procedure Code, it is stated that property necessary for the work of a debtor citizen cannot be recovered except for items worth more than 10 thousand rubles. Because of this, bailiffs can freely confiscate the property of low-income citizens acquired with funds received under social contracts if it is more expensive than this amount,” the message noted.
Let us remind you that since the beginning of the year, residents of Bashkiria have received almost 538 million rubles under social contracts.
