In 2023, more than 2 billion rubles were allocated from the federal, regional, and municipal budgets for organizing children's recreation in Bashkiria. The results of the summer health campaign were reported at a weekly meeting by the Minister of Education of Bashkiria, Ildar Mavletberdin.
According to the head of the regional Ministry of Education, 502,277 children were covered by summer holidays, 96.7% of the total schoolchildren. Compared to 2022, the full coverage of recreation and recreation increased by 14,269 children.
In addition, holidays were organized for 1,830 children and 107 accompanying adults from the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics in the republic.
“Today, 200 children and 12 accompanying adults from the Lugansk People’s Republic are resting in the Orlyonok children’s camp in the Ilishevsky district. For these purposes, financial resources of 110 million rubles have been allocated from the republican budget. During their holiday in the republic, the children became acquainted with our region's history and traditions. Many older children wished to return to our republic to continue their university education,” the minister said.
Also, recreation was organized for 185 evacuated children and 3 accompanying adults to assist in the Belgorod region during the summer health campaign. 6 million rubles have been allocated from the republican budget to organize recreation and recreation for these children. For all visiting children, excursions were organized to the capital of the republic, Ufa, with visits to the universities of the republic and the geopark Toratau and Sterlitamak.
