

An additional 36.7 million rubles were allocated to Bashkiria as part of the federal program “Treatment of Patients with Diabetes Mellitus” in 2023. The corresponding order of the Russian government was published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
1.35 billion rubles were distributed among the regions for these purposes. The document states that the allocated funds will be spent on implementing measures to equip medical organizations providing medical care to rural residents and residents of remote areas with equipment for detecting diabetes mellitus and monitoring the condition of a patient with previously diagnosed diabetes mellitus.
It was previously reported that in 2022, 124,204 patients with diabetes were registered at the dispensary. The federal register of patients with diabetes mellitus includes 122,602 adults and 1,602 children.
