In Bashkiria, parents of more than 283 thousand children have received a unified allowance since the beginning of the year. Allowances are issued in the social treasury format. To do this, one application submitted through the government services portal is enough, and specialists check information about the family’s income and property as part of a departmental request, the press service of the Bashkir branch of the Social Fund of the Russian Federation reported.
A unified allowance has been introduced in Russia since 2023. The allowance combines several previously existing support measures. A comprehensive assessment of the family’s income and assets is used when assigning payments, and the parents' employment is also considered.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the republic was allocated more than 5.4 billion rubles from the federal budget to pay child allowance in 2023.
