Almost 14 thousand of Bashkiria geographical objects names are included in federal state catalog
Since 2022, the state catalog has been replenished with 40 geographical names of Bashkortostan. The state catalog now contains 13,967 entries about the names of geographical objects of Bashkortostan. For example, this year, the State Committee for Human Resources has been replenished with such names as the rivers Akudinka, Sibirgan, Lake Turanda, and the Aratskaya Dacha tract, Rosreestr for the Bashkiria reported.
The catalog ensures the accuracy and consistency of names, eliminates possible inconsistencies and contradictions in the use of geographical terms, and also serves as an important tool for geographical and scientific work, Zukhra Saitgareeva, the head of geodesy and cartography, land management and land monitoring department commented.
