Medical module for donor blood preparation, processing, and storage was opened in Bashkiria
A medical module for preparing, processing, and storing donor blood was opened in Bashkiria. Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan, Maxim Zabelin, wrote on social media about the module's grand opening in Oktyabrsky.
The module is equipped with the most modern medical and technical equipment. The harvesting volume here is planned to be increased to 7 tons per year. The city has long needed such a center.
In the Oktyabrsky Medical District alone, 648 people have already been awarded the “Honorary Donor of Russia” badge, and 61 have been awarded the “Honorary Donor of the USSR” badge.
“The opening of the medical module is a step forward in developing the city’s medical infrastructure and improving the quality of life of its residents. This will enable donors to donate blood more comfortably and safely, and medical workers to provide quality treatment and save lives,” said Maxim Zabelin.
