

In Bashkiria, the available bed capacity for treatment of COVID-19 is 10%. The Minister of Health of the Republic, Airat Rakhmatullin, announced this today at an operational meeting of the government at the SDG. He named the figure 25% a week ago, which meets the Russian Ministry of Health requirements.
Ayrat Rakhmatullin noted that in the republic, there is an increase in the number of people suffering from ARVI and influenza, and vaccination against them is underway.
The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, drew attention to the growth chart of COVID-19 cases. Airat Rakhmatullin explained that the seasonal increase in infected people corresponds to the norm. He added that COVID hospitals in the republic are ready to receive not only those infected with COVID-19 but also patients with ARVI and pneumonia.
Let us remind you that 69 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Bashkiria over the past 24 hours. As the Bashinform News Agency reported, today, 95 patients are undergoing inpatient treatment in the republic, including 70 elderly people. 941 patients are receiving outpatient treatment, of which 424 are people over 60 years old. 64 people were discharged during the day after recovering from COVID-19.
