A Parliamentary Alley of 30 linden trees appeared in Ufa, planted with the participation of the State Assembly of Bashkiria deputies, the press service of the republican government agency reports. A new facility was created near the capital’s school No. 88.
“The event is non-political. This is the desire of deputies to decorate our city, to make it a little more comfortable. All tree seedlings were purchased with personal funds, and this will be a small contribution to the transformation of the city, which is actively preparing for its 450th anniversary. We are pleased that a new comfortable place will appear here for residents of the area,” commented the chairman of the Kurultai, Konstantin Tolkachev.
It is noted that Parliament Alley is already the 18th in a row, planted on the territory of Ufa in 2023. Paths and benches will also be installed here, and you can find out about each named tree using a QR code that leads to the Green Bashkiria website.
