Russia has expanded increased social pension recipients list
Cavaliers of the Order of St. George, as well as those awarded the Insignia of the Order of all four degrees, will be awarded an increased social pension in recognition of the services of these people to the country. First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Andrey Turchak announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to Andrey Turchak, currently, the same rule applies to those awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, while they do not apply to recipients of the Order of St. George.
As the Bashinform News Agency learned, the bill will establish monthly financial support for those awarded in the ratio of 415% of the size of the social pension - those awarded the Order of St. George, 1st degree, or the symbol of the Order of St. George of all four degrees; 330% of the amount of the social pension - awarded with the Order of St. George, 2nd degree, or the Order of St. George, 3rd and 4th degrees, and 250% of the amount of the social pension - awarded with the Order of St. George, 4th degree.
Corresponding amendments to the law on additional monthly financial support for citizens for outstanding achievements and special merits will be considered shortly.
