Bashkiria hit Top Russian region in social entrepreneurship and NGO support
Bashkiria became the leader in ranking Russian regions in supporting social entrepreneurship and NGOs based on the results of 2022, the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, said in his Telegram channel.
In three years, Bashkiria rose from 25th place to first.
“Behind these figures is the enormous consistent work of our social sphere,” noted Radiy Khabirov.
Thus, the republic has launched a system of social certificates - for preschoolers, for rehabilitating disabled children, for receiving rehabilitation means, for vocational education, and for helping the elderly at home.
“Now a person chooses the quality and performer he trusts. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s a government institution or a commercial one. Together with investors, we began to build modern nursing homes - boarding houses - on a concession basis. 5 objects with 132 places have already been commissioned. I want to say that the topic of supporting social entrepreneurship and NGOs is important and necessary. I thank everyone involved in this matter,” the Head of Bashkiria emphasized.
